Introduction

Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh finished BA and MA in electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology in 2004. He also finished MA in mathematical and computational engineering at Stanford University in 2006 and PHD in economics at Chicago University in 2013. He is now working as assistant professor at faculty of management and economics at Sharif University of Technology. In terms of non-academic activities, he was the director of the model creating group of the Monetary and Banking Research Institute of the Central Bank from 2013 to 2017. From 2018, he is advisor of economic department of the Management and Planning Organization of Iran.
