Introduction

Sadegh al-Hosseini is an Iranian economist, who wrote and complied books such as “Iran’s Economy in Entanglement of Development,” “Economic Sciences Encyclopedia” which is the first Persian language economic encyclopedia in Iran, as well as translated the book “Who Gets What and Why” into Persian, which was written by Alvin E. Roth.
Al-Hosseini finished BA and MA in economics at University of Tehran; then, he moved to the US to study international relations and public management of development at Syracuse University's Maxwell School. The school’s ranking in the US is number one in public management and its ranking in international affairs is 9 in the world.
He has been executive director and economic consultant as well as investor in different organizations and companies, whose several articles have been published in prominent economic newspapers and media outlets both in Persian and English.
11 years of job experiences in Iran, including 7 years of management posts and 4 years of working as specialist.
2 years of job experiences at international level in the faculty in the US.
